“O
LORD God of hosts, who is mighty as you are, O LORD, with your faithfulness all
around you?” (Psalm 89:8).
My
grammar checker says: "fragment (consider revising)". If this is a
fragment, and it is packed that full of the treasures of wisdom and knowledge
in God, what would our souls receive from the whole Psalm? Even that is a small
glimpse at the treasures that are ours in the whole word of God.
And,
when we do not have the word of God in front of us, or in our minds, the
heavens, and all creation, continually tell us that God is mighty, and his robe
of faithfulness is all around him.
No
matter what things look like in the world, God's children, who fix their eyes
on heavenly things, know that we are the most secure people in the whole wide
world, for our Father rules and reigns over all things, and will never fail to
fulfill all his covenant promises to his children.
