Today in Revelation ~ Future Hope for Present Faith

“Behold, he is coming with the clouds, and every eye will see him, even those who pierced him, and all tribes of the earth will wail on account of him. Even so. Amen” (Revelation 1:7).

“Beloved, we are God's children now, and what we will be has not yet appeared; but we know that when he appears we shall be like him, because we shall see him as he is” (I John 3:2).

 

          PRAISE THE LORD!!!!

          What wonderful truths there are in Scripture interpreting Scripture!

 

PRESENT: Those who have received Jesus (John 1:12-13) are the “BELOVED,”

PRESENT: “we ARE God’s children NOW”

PRESENT: “what we will be has NOT YET APPEARED”

PRESENT: “we KNOW that when he appears we shall be like him”

 

FUTURE: “what we WILL be”

FUTURE: “WHEN he appears”

FUTURE: “we SHALL BE like him”

FUTURE: “because we SHALL see him as he is”

 

PRESENT, CONSTANT, ETERNAL, INFINITE: “as he IS!”
