Considerations ~ Losing One’s Head for the Sake of One’s Head

I just watched a video of Muslims beheading a man they believed was a Christian. This is our world. For those who would rather die in the arms of Jesus than follow a hateful, murderous religion, God gave this promise of hope over nineteen hundred years ago, to minister to his children all through the last days.

“Also I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for the testimony of Jesus and for the word of God, and those who had not worshiped the beast or its image and had not received its mark on their foreheads or their hands. They came to life and reigned with Christ for a thousand years.” (Revelation 20:4)

The enemies of Christ will die in their sins, and endure the condemnation of God against their sin. Their day is coming. Those who die in Christ will live forever with God in his heavenly kingdom. Blessed is every person who is willing to lose their life in the world in order to find it in Jesus (Matthew 10:39; 16:25).
