Other than that, we see every generation of believers
experience all the kinds of things spoken of in the Scriptures, proving that
the world is going from bad to worse, just as God’s word tells us. These
visible signs assure us that, while we can see these things happening the way
Scripture describes them, we can also have faith that the things God promised
would happen beyond our sight are also carrying on according to the will of
God.
One day, the preparations of God that we can see will meet up
with the preparations of God that we cannot see. There will be a trumpet blast
from heaven, the sound of the archangel announcing the return of the triumphant
King of kings and Lord of lords, the Son of Man riding through the clouds into
the material realm, the angels gathering God’s children from every part of the
earth, and the lost calling on the rocks and hills to cover them out of their
fear and terror of the wrath of the Lamb of God.
Conclusion: You who know that Jesus Christ is coming back for
you, live to the fullest your place in the kingdom of heaven until he comes.
You who are not ready to meet Jesus should he come today, know that, “now is the favorable time; behold, now is
the day of salvation” (II Corinthians 6:2).
