The Safety of Seven

If God and the world were playing cards, God’s hand would be sevens, and man’s hand would be sixes. God’s seven would always trump man’s six. No matter how man expressed his six in world events, God would have a seven that would rule over everything man intended to do. No matter how many religions-of-six man created, God would have his churches-of-seven firmly in his hands. While man will brand his slaves with the infamous play of the triple-six, God will seal his people with his seven, securing them as his forever. No matter how many sixes man tries to play in any one move, they will never trump even a solitary seven of God.

The very good news in this is that now we can admit we are a big fat zero in any way imaginable because, when God seals us with his seven, we are just that, his seven. And seven is the safest place to be no matter how angry it makes the sixes.
