Our agape-love adventure[1]
leads us to consider the various facets of this love in order to fine-tune how
we, “Pursue love, and earnestly desire
the spiritual gifts”.[2]
Agape-love is what makes the church go
round, so to speak. Spiritual gifts is how agape-love ministers to one another
in order to maximize our growth and maturity in Christ.
Now that we have a sense of what agape-love
is in itself (goodwill arising from a personal moral good rather than
attraction),[3]
and how necessary it is that we have this agape-love in everything we do,[4]
the first facets of agape-love are described as patience and kindness.
Join our home church as we explore the relational
dynamic of the Triune God’s patience and kindness with us that fills us with
patience and kindness with one another.
