Have you ever wondered why there is a spiritual gift of
faith when all believers are saved by grace through faith?[1]
The latter speaks of the faith that is given to all believers without exception,
while the spiritual gift of faith speaks of something distributed by the Spirit
to only some members of the body of Christ.[2]
In this video, our home church explores how the life of
faith in Jesus Christ includes some within the church also receiving the
spiritual gift of faith. We not only consider the distinctiveness of the
spiritual gift of faith, but also how it builds up the body of Christ in the
use of all the other spiritual gifts.

I Corinthians 12:9; Ephesians 2:8-9
[2]
This is true of all the spiritual gifts, that they are distributed by the
Spirit throughout the body of Christ, with every believer having some gift to
contribute, and no one believer having all the gifts. See I Corinthians
12:1-11, and Romans 12:3-8 for this partnership between the Spirit giving some
gift to every believer, and no gift being given to every believer (requiring us
to work together, of course).
